HBO announced they are preparing a reboot of the iconic TV series Gossip Girl. The new show will go back to a private school in Manhattan and introduce the public to a new group of privileged teenagers that will be involved in several scandals. Of course, the mysterious blogger will be back, too. We don’t know yet if the characters of the original version will be on the show.
Gossip Girl aired between 2007 and 2012. The show was responsible for people like Blake Lively and Leighton Meester becoming household names. Most of the actors were young and now they have a net worth evaluated in the millions.
Kelly Rutherford - $1 million
Kelly Rutherford played Lily Van Der Woodsen, Serena and Eric’s mother, and her storyline is very complicated. In the past, she dated Rufus Humpfrey (Dan’s father) and she got pregnant. She gave the baby up for adoption and years later, she married William Van Der Woodsen. She then gets married to Bart Bass, Chuck’s father.
Rutherford became famous during the '90s when she played Megan Lewis on Melrose Place. In real life, she's not as rich as Lily van der Woodsen. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she has a fortune evaluated at $1 million.

Matthew Settle plays Rufus Humphrey. Dan and Jenny’s father. His storyline focus on his relationships with his children, Lily and other women.
However, the actor thought his plot could be better. He told Vulture, “I always wanted them to give Rufus, like, some stake to loose. He never had political conflicts really because he didn’t have a lot of power at stake. Lily, for instance, has to decide sometimes to be ruthless, and Rufus never had to deal with that, contend with it. I would love to work on a series where there’s more collaboration.”
Settle became famous when he played Captain Ronald Speirs on Band of Brothers and he has a net worth of $4 million.
Taylor Momsen - $4 million
Taylor Momsen played Jenny Humphrey, Dan’s younger sister. She struggles to fit in at her new high school. Gossip Girls was Taylor's first role on television, and later on, her character disappeared from the show.

Szohr has a $4 million net worth..
She left the show after the fourth season, but on better terms than Monsem did. She told E! Online, "When I started the fourth season, I kind of had a talk with the producers. We didn't know what we were going to do with the characters. After playing someone for four years, it can be a little repetitive. So I was ready for a change."
Ed Westwick - $4 million
Ed Westwick has a $4 million fortune and plays Chuck Bass, the son of a self-made billionaire. He has a manipulative personality and has a relationship with Blair Waldorf. The character demanded a lot from Westwick.

However, she often feels that she lives under Serena's shadow.
Although the role made her famous, Meester has mixed feelings about the show: she told E! News, "I was young when I started Gossip Girl. A lot more people were suddenly around and I was being looked at. If you don't have the right perspective, you could definitely be confused by people being that nice to you or judging you for behavior that's typical of a 20, 21-year-old, making mistakes but having to make them very publicly."
Chace Crawford - $6 million
Chace Crawford has a $6 million net worth. He became famous after playing Nate Archibald on Gossip Girl. His character is the best friend of Chuck Bass and has multiple relationships. He told Vulture, "He's not real. He's a tool on a show with soap-operatic arcs and he needs to be a judgmental douche bag sometimes. I get that. I don't hate anybody for that. But it sucks when people call me 'Dan' and think that I'm him."
The actor now is the star of the Netflix show You and has an $8 million net worth.
